ACP State Affairs

ACP’s State Affairs team and comprehensive network of Regional Partner organizations track, analyze, and advocate on clean power legislation, rulemakings, and policies across the United States. Drawing on ACP’s deep expertise and the Regional Partners’ decades of policy and lobbying experience, the State Affairs program regularly provides briefings and testimony to state policy-makers, clean energy stakeholders, and others.

ACE NY

ACE New York‘s mission is to promote the use of clean, renewable electricity technologies and energy efficiency in New York state, in order to increase energy diversity and security, boost economic development, improve public health, and reduce air pollution.

ACP-CA

American Clean Power-California (ACP-CA) works with policymakers to develop cost-effective solutions to the climate crisis and create the next generation of clean power jobs. As a state project of the national American Clean Power Association, ACP-CA represents companies who develop, own, and operate utility-scale solar, storage, land-based wind, offshore wind, enhanced geothermal, and transmission assets to power a clean and renewable economy for California and the West.

Advanced Power Alliance (APA) is an industry trade association that promotes the development of the advanced energy technologies that deliver clean, reliable, affordable power for consumers, businesses and manufacturers across the United States. APA has maintained a strong industry voice in legislative, regulatory and technical affairs across the Southwest Power Pool (SPP), Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and Southeast regions. APA is spearheading efforts to defend equitable and technology neutral regulatory, tax, and siting policies that strike the appropriate balance between increasing development, environmental protection, private property rights and military readiness. APA represents Arkansas, Alabama,  Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Tennessee and Texas.

Clean Grid Alliance

Clean Grid Alliance (c3) and Clean Grid Association (c6), together CGA, is the premier regional clean energy advocacy organization in the Midwest. CGA covers MISO transmission & markets, state siting policy including the Land & Liberty Coalition, utility IRPs and other regulatory dockets, communications, and legislative/state advocacy work. CGA’s 9-state footprint includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Interwest Energy Alliance

The Interwest Energy Alliance is a non-profit 501(c)(6) trade association representing the leading renewable energy and energy storage developers and manufacturers working throughout the states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Our mission is to make the Intermountain West America’s leader in the deployment of a reliable, cost-effective, and diverse portfolio of renewable energy resources.

MAREC Action

MAREC Action is a coalition of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage developers, wind turbine and solar panel manufacturers, and public interest organizations dedicated to promoting the growth and development of renewable energy in the PJM Interconnection region. Our regional coverage includes ten jurisdictions: Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virgnia. We offer expert guidance and advocacy on state policy and regulatory issues, and act as a unified voice for the utility-scale clean energy industry at PJM.

Renew Northeast

RENEW is a non-profit association uniting environmental advocates and the renewable energy industry whose mission involves coordinating the ideas and resources of its members with the goal of increasing environmentally sustainable energy generation in New England from the region’s abundant, indigenous renewable resources. RENEW represents Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

Renewable Northwest

Renewable Northwest has grown to become one of the nation’s most impactful renewable energy advocacy organizations. Renewable Northwest’s strength comes from its members, a unique and powerful coalition of renewable energy professionals, energy buyers and marketers, ratepayer advocates, and environmental NGOs. Renewable Northwest’s mission is to decarbonize the region by accelerating the transition to renewable electricity. Renewable Northwest’s vision is for every home, business, and vehicle in the Northwest to be powered by renewable, affordable, carbon-free electricity. Renewable Northwest’s represents Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington State.

Southern Renewable Energy Association

The Southern Renewable Energy Association (SREA) is an industry-led initiative that promotes responsible use and development of wind energy, solar energy, energy storage and transmission solutions in the South. SREA’s geographic region covers seven Southeastern states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
