WASHINGTON DC,  March 18, 2021 — The American Clean Power Association (ACP) issued the following statement after the Senate confirmed Katherine Tai as the U.S Trade Representative.

“American Clean Power congratulates Katherine Tai as she begins her leadership as the U.S. Trade Representative. The clean power industry, like other major industries, participates in a global supply chain that includes a strong domestic manufacturing presence. We support the Biden-Harris Administration’s focus on the domestic clean energy supply chain and are looking forward to working closely with the new Trade Representative and her team to help achieve the dual objectives of increasing domestic manufacturing and meeting important climate goals.” – Heather Zichal, ACP CEO
