Apply to ACP’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Committee

Thank you for your interest in joining the Committee of ACP that will foster, recognize and support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts of the ACP and the clean power industry. This committee will play a vital leadership role within the industry and will require a substantial time commitment and dedication of resources.

All members of ACP are eligible to join this Committee. Additionally, we request that only one (1) representative per ACP member company join, and that this individual be the senior-most team member with oversight of any DE&I initiatives (to the extent there are existing DE&I initiatives in place). The CEOs of organizations are encouraged as applicants, however, that position is not a requirement.

Once your submission is processed, you will receive a welcome email and calendar event invites from the DEI Committee staff lead, Sam Voncannon. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Sam Voncannon at

Eligibility to the committee board is limited to CEO or senior-most executives with oversight of DE&I and only one individual from interested ACP member companies should apply.

At ACP, we believe a diverse, inclusive and equitable organization is one where all employees, members and leadership feel valued and respected. ACP is committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all persons and does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression.

To ensure that ACP’s DE&I Committee reflects underrepresented and historically disadvantaged communities that the committee aims to empower and promote, we ask all applicants to consider the following questions.

Sharing this information is entirely voluntary, and will only be viewed by members of the Committee guiding the selection process. It will otherwise be treated strictly confidential.
Please indicate the sexual orientation that you most closely identify with.
