What We Do:
As the industry’s united voice, ACP-CA helps shape policy and regulation to make clean power achievable, affordable and reliable while delivering a new generation of energy jobs.
Priorities
- Build Faster: California needs to build faster and build bigger to meet rising energy demand and accomplish its climate goals. ACP-CA is ready with proposals to accelerate deployment, spend smarter and strengthen the grid.
- Transmission: ACP-CA is pushing California to to upgrade and build the transmission lines needed to bring new clean power online.
- Markets: ACP-CA advocates legislation to grow the market for clean energy produced in California while expanding clean power adoption and production across the West.
- Resource Diversity: ACP-CA is home to the California Council of Offshore Wind Leaseholders, which represents the five leaseholders developing the West Coast’s first offshore wind projects. The Council works with state leaders to promote smart deployment of the technology, which has the potential to power millions of homes and help California meet rising energy demand.
