Switch on Safety

ACP’s Safety First Workforce Campaign for 2025 focuses on the electrical safety of clean energy workers.

Learn about ensuring the electrical safety of clean energy workers.

The people of the clean energy workforce are the heartbeat of the industry, and the importance of their safety cannot be understated. At ACP, the safety of our clean energy workforce isn’t just a goal—it’s a responsibility.

Every year, during the month of October, ACP runs an educational and awareness-building campaign that’s dedicated to sharing best practices that help ensure clean energy workers return home safely at the end of each workday.

Utility-scale clean energy systems are technically and electrically complex. The 2025 Safety First Workforce Campaign, “Switch on Safety” is aimed at ensuring the electrical safety of clean energy workers.

This year’s campaign will equip members with practical tools to identify electrical hazards that can occur on clean energy sites, implement safe work practices that mitigate risks, integrate electrical safety considerations into in program development and technology design, and build a strong electrical safety culture within companies and across the industry.
