New in 2026, the ACP Emerging Leader Award recognizes an early-career professional under the age of 30 in the clean energy industry who has demonstrated outstanding promise as a leader within their organization or field.
Through innovative thinking, collaboration, and a strong commitment to professional growth, the recipient is already making meaningful contributions and helping shape the future of the industry. The Emerging Leader exemplifies initiative, forward-thinking ideas, and active engagement in advancing the mission and impact of their professional community.
This award will be presented by David Carroll (ENGIE North America, ACP Board Chair) on Thursday, June 4 at CLEANPOWER 2026 in Houston, TX.

Award Criteria
Nominees are evaluated based on the following:
- Professional Impact
- Demonstrates meaningful contributions to projects, teams, or the broader clean energy industry
- Innovation & Initiative
- Applies creative thinking and takes initiative in addressing challenges
- Industry Engagement
- Actively participates in professional communities, mentorship, or industry initiatives
- Leadership Potential
- Shows strong potential to grow into a leadership role and positively influence others
- Emerging Leader
- Under the Age of 30, actively working in the clean energy industry
- ACP Membership
