Will Townsend

Will Townsend is Director, Mobilization, where he leads efforts to engage and activate stakeholders in support of federal and state priorities. Prior to joining ACP, he served as Political Director for the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), where he led an overhaul of the organization’s grassroots program.

A campaign-trained operator, Will has worked on nearly a dozen political campaigns and later joined the American Petroleum Institute, where he built its first national organizing program, securing victories for energy development, including Louisiana’s Class VI well primacy.

Will lives in Washington, D.C.
