Tara Hupman
Tara Hupman is the Vice President for External Affairs at American Clean Power (ACP). In this role she leads the clean power industry’s grassroots efforts and the PAC, and works on ACP’s political engagement at the federal and state level.
Prior to joining ACP, Tara served as General Counsel in House leadership, Chief Counsel for the House Committee on Energy & Commerce, Chief Counsel for the House Committee on Natural Resources, and Senior Counsel for the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure. Earlier in her career, Tara served on the Senate Committee for Small Business and the Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs.
Tara earned her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law, where she was on the Administrative Law Review and served as a Dean’s Fellow in the Law and Government program.
