Michael Snyder

Mike has been with Tesla since 2014 and has an electrical engineering background in large-scale solar and battery projects. Mike has been involved with the Megapack and Powerwall business from its inception, leading engineering organizations that provides multi-disciplinary engineering execution support from pre-sale through commercial operation of battery and solar PV projects, service engineering teams responsible for product uptime, analytics, and root cause analysis, and full EPC teams responsible for Megapack project construction. He now leads the Energy and Charging organization inclusive of manufacturing (Lathrop, Reno, and Buffalo), a global service organization responsible for all Energy and Charging products, Product Engineering inclusive of hardware, firmware, and software, and the Megapack, Powerwall, Solar, and Supercharging business units. Mike is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a M.S. in Electric Power Engineering from Chalmers University in Gothenburg, Sweden.
