Manav Sharma

After completing his studies in computer science and business administration (PGDM), Manav Sharma began his career in the consumer goods industry, where he was responsible for launching new products and expanding footprints.

He then moved to the renewable energy sector and was responsible for portfolio investments at the Suzlon Group. Following this, he implemented a comprehensive, multi-year transformation program at REpower, one of the portfolio companies, and in 2015 he was appointed CFO of the company.

In 2020 he joined the Nordex Group, taking on the role of COO of the Group in the same year. In this role, he was largely responsible for expanding the company’s presence in Asia and Brazil and was also responsible for IT and Information Security and Purchasing. In mid-2023, Mr. Sharma took over the position of Chief Transformation Officer to drive forward the company’s strategic cross-sectional projects on a global level. From June 1, 2024, he will expand the company’s business in North America as Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed division of North America.
