Jason Ryan
Jason Ryan is a Deputy Director of Media Relations at ACP. He is the primary press contact for the organization and works to advance member company priorities in all forms of media.
Jason previously worked for bp America in public affairs and media relations in Houston and Washington DC. In addition to supporting the overall Americas business, he was the primary spokesman for bp Wind Energy and a communications advisor to Lightsource bp.
Prior to working with bp, Jason was an award-winning journalist with ABC News. He began with the company in the news division’s Moscow bureau in 1998 and later moved to Washington DC where he covered the White House, Pentagon, and State Department. Jason was the editorial producer for the network’s coverage of the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security from 2003-2013.
Jason holds a BA in European history with a concentration in Russian studies from Hobart and William Smith College. He is an avid cyclist and lives with his family in Washington DC.
