
Brandon Moss
Brandon Moss has served as Chief Executive Officer of Shoals Technologies Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SHLS), a global leader in electrical infrastructure solutions for the energy transition market, since July 2023. He was appointed to the company’s Board of Directors in March 2024. With over 25 years of experience in the electrical and consumer goods industries, Mr. Moss brings a proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence. Since joining Shoals, he has been instrumental in refining the company’s strategy, enhancing organizational capacity, and implementing a robust operating model to enable strong execution.
Under his leadership, Shoals has strengthened and diversified its market position by delivering innovative, American-made advanced electrical infrastructure for utility scale solar, battery storage, and data center power systems improving installation efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability. Mr. Moss has also reshaped the company’s global manufacturing footprint by streamlining operations and expanding production capacity, including substantial investments in automation technologies and safety protocols.
Before joining Shoals, Mr. Moss served as President of the Tools, Components, and Assembled Solutions Group at Southwire Company, a global wire and cable manufacturing leader with $8 billion in revenue. From 2007 to 2023, he played a pivotal role in diversifying Southwire’s portfolio by establishing and leading this business unit, driving expansion into new markets, and forging strategic global partnerships. To support this growth, he led the acquisition and integration of 10 companies, including both domestic and international operations. Earlier in his career, Mr. Moss held commercial leadership roles at Lutron Electronics and Stanley Black & Decker.
Mr. Moss holds a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Miami University. With a clear strategic vision, a strong commitment to innovation, and a proven ability to champion sustainable solutions, he is well-positioned to lead Shoals Technologies Group in capitalizing on significant growth opportunities within the renewable energy sector He has been married for over 15 years and is the proud father of three. In his free time, he is actively involved in youth sports both as coach and mentor.
