Bennett Fuson

Director, Energy Storage

Bennett Fuson is the Director of Energy Storage at the American Clean Power Association, where he leads state and local policy initiatives and engagement on a diverse set of subject matter areas, including siting and permitting, tax policy, environmental compliance and safety regulations.

Bennett previously served on the government affairs team at EDP Renewables, where he managed state advocacy and local affairs supporting project development initiatives across a seven-state Midwest region. Bennett has also worked on the government relations team for Indiana Electric Cooperatives, a state trade association for rural electric membership cooperatives, and the Hoosier State Press Association, a state trade association for newspaper publishers.

Bennett graduated with honors from Indiana University-Bloomington and earned his juris doctorate from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University-Indianapolis. Bennett is a native and lifelong Hoosier and lives in downtown Indianapolis with his wife and dog; in his free time, Bennett enjoys live music and sporting events, (poorly) playing golf, and brewing his own beer.
