Anthony Fratto
Anthony Fratto is the Senior Director of Research and Analysis at the American Clean Power Association (ACP). Anthony oversees quantitative analysis that evaluates the impacts of policy and regulatory priorities for the clean energy industry. His primary interests are wholesale market design, hydrogen, transmission, and offshore wind.
Prior to joining ACP, Anthony was a Managing Consultant within the Asset Valuation and Market Forecasting practice at E3, a leading energy economics consulting firm. He primarily worked with large utility holding companies, private equity firms, and developers to identify market opportunities, quantify future revenue streams and make decisions about capital expenditures. He provided clients with a 360-degree view of the current and future real-time energy market leading the firm’s ERCOT forecast and providing technical assistance to WECC and Eastern markets. Additionally, he assisted utilities, local governments, and non-profits examine what a future decarbonized world would entail through long-term resource planning and cost-adoption modeling.
Anthony received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Political Science from the University of Utah, and a Master’s in Technology and Policy from MIT. In his free time Anthony enjoys traveling, cooking, walking his dog around the city, and listening to Morning Edition on NPR.
