Abigail Huston is the Vice President of Programs for the Clean Power Institute. In this role, Abigail leads the development of scalable workforce solutions that advance the clean energy sector’s growth and inclusivity. She works at the intersection of industry, education, philanthropy, and community partners to create innovative pathways into wind, solar, and battery storage careers—building a diverse, skilled workforce to power America’s clean energy future.

Abigail brings over two decades of leadership experience in the social impact and education sectors, with a focus on building equity, resilience, and opportunity for underserved communities. Prior to joining CPI, she served as Head of Europe for Teach For All, supporting education system change and leadership development across 20+ countries. Earlier in her career, she was a Site Director with The New Teacher Project (TNTP), working across Arizona and California to strengthen teaching and student outcomes in high-need schools, and served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Moldova, where she taught in a rural village and led community development initiatives.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and has lived and worked extensively in the U.S. and Europe.
