Maggie Kash is a seasoned communications leader with two decades of experience navigating the intersection of strategic communications, public policy, advocacy, and media. Maggie is deeply committed to mission-driven work, and dedicated to driving effective communications strategies to influence policy and inspire action.

Prior to joining American Clean Power, Maggie recently led AI and energy public affairs at Google and served as Chief of Communications at the Sierra Club for over a decade. She also previously served as the Press Secretary for the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights.

Maggie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Go Heels! In her free time, she enjoys hiking, art and design, reading, and cooking. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, two sons, and a rambunctious pup.
