Emilie Wangerman

Emilie Wangerman is Lightsource bp’s Head of USA, Chief Operating Officer (COO). She leads the strategic direction for the region, overseeing key operational functions, and collaborating closely within the executive team to continue advancing Lightsource bp’s growth across the United States.

Emilie has been an integral part of Lightsource bp since joining in late 2017, driving accelerated expansion into the US market.

Emilie brings a broad spectrum of experience and discipline to this role. She has spent her 20+ year career working in the energy industry—including roles in energy procurement, customer programs, operations, power marketing, acquisitions and growth strategy.

Prior to joining Lightsource bp, Emilie held leadership positions at Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) and Intel Corporation.

Emilie holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University.
