Kelsey Hallahan
Kelsey Hallahan is the Director of Market Intelligence at the American Clean Power Association (ACP). In this role, she oversees the association’s industry-leading market reports on the US utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage landscape, as well as data collection and analysis for the CleanPowerIQ database.
Prior to joining ACP in October 2023, Kelsey was the global lead for Low Carbon Commodities Pricing at S&P Global Commodity Insights, where she coordinated the company’s cutting-edge work on integrating greenhouse gas emissions data and carbon markets into traditional commodities pricing. Previous roles at the company included the Platts natural gas pricing team and as an energy markets data journalist, with a focus on the emerging North American renewable natural gas and certified natural gas markets. Before starting at S&P Global, Kelsey was an ORISE Fellow at the Energy Information Administration’s Office of Policy Analysis.
Kelsey received her Master’s in International Energy Economics and Policy from the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po in France, and a B.A. in History and Middle Eastern Languages from the University of Washington in Seattle. In her free time, she enjoys reading sci-fi/fantasy books, garment sewing, learning new languages, and exploring Washington DC and the wider world with her husband, Erdogan.
