Noah Roberts

Executive Director, U.S. Energy Storage Coalition

Noah Roberts leads the U.S. Energy Storage Coalition’s national efforts to advance energy storage deployment and grid battery manufacturing to enhance energy reliability, affordability, and security across the U.S. power grid. In this role, he oversees strategy, public policy, and market initiatives on behalf of the U.S. energy storage industry.

During Noah’s tenure leading energy storage initiatives, he has supported and implemented industry efforts to exponentially grow the technology from an emerging to now essential energy resource. Noah facilitated industry coordination that led to the energy storage sector’s historic announcement to invest $100 billion in U.S. factories and American-made grid batteries — as well as comprehensive frameworks to expand markets and advance industry regulations and standards.

The U.S. Energy Storage Coalition (ESC) was established in 2025 by the nation’s leading energy storage companies to advance the critical role the technology plays enhancing grid reliability, keeping electricity affordable, and maximizing the performance of all energy resources. An affiliate of ACP, the specific programs and priorities of the ESC are determined by the companies that make up the Coalition.
