ACP Response to PJM’s “Fast Energization” Proposal

WASHINGTON, D.C., Ocober 28, 2026 – The American Clean Power Association (ACP) sent a letter today to PJM Interconnection President and CEO David Mills, Board Chair Paula Conboy, and the PJM Board of Managers outlining concerns with PJM’s proposed Mega-Queue that could put generator interconnection cost, timing and development at risk. PJM’s proposal would study all generator interconnection requests and large-load transmission service requests together in a single annual cluster.
ACP stands ready to work with PJM to help develop load growth inventive solutions to ensure large loads and new generation can connect efficiently and transparently.
