ACP Names Maggie Kash as Vice President, Public Relations

WASHINGTON, D.C., March 10, 2026 — The American Clean Power Association (ACP) today announced that Maggie Kash has joined the organization as the Vice President of Public Relations.

Prior to joining ACP, Kash led AI and energy public affairs at Google and served as Chief of Communications at the Sierra Club for over a decade. She also previously served as the Press Secretary for the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. 

“Our team is thrilled to welcome Maggie to ACP,” said Artealia Gilliard, ACP’s Chief Communications Officer. “She is an accomplished communicator with a strong record of leading advocacy campaigns and rapid response communications. We are excited to add her leadership and expertise to our team to amplify the crucial role of affordable, American-made, clean power in supporting a strong economy.”  

With two decades of experience navigating the intersection of strategic communications, public policy, advocacy, and media, Kash is committed to mission-driven work and dedicated to driving effective communications strategies to influence policy and inspire action.

Kash is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
