WASHINGTON, D.C., September 3, 2024 – The American Clean Power Association (ACP) today announced that Brent Panzenhagen joins the organization as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance. With over 15 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant and operational leader specializing in accounting, financial planning, compliance, and reporting, Panzenhagen will provide strategic financial guidance to the largest multi-tech clean energy trade association in the nation.

“As we continue to expand America’s clean energy sector, strategic financial stewardship is critical and Brent’s broad experience positions us for future growth,” said ACP’s Chief Operating Officer Kelly Darnell. “He will bring valuable expertise to our talented leadership team and will be instrumental as we support the growth of America’s clean energy sector—and as our association grows alongside it.”

Most recently, Panzenhagen served as Vice President, Finance and Controller, for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). While there, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations. He also has experience in the service sector, working for KPMG and serving over 30 clients, including trade associations, private foundations, and organizations in the renewable energy sector.

Panzenhagen earned his accounting degree from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and was recently recognized as a Top Accounting Executive in the 2024 Controller Awards. He assumed his role at ACP in August 2024.
