Woody Rubin

Woody Rubin currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at AES Renewables and Power, where he oversees all development and M&A activity for the US renewables and power group. Since 2014 Woody has helped to grow AES’ business in the US into one of the leading renewable platforms globally, serving in a variety of management and development roles within AES Renewables and Power, AES Clean Energy and AES Distributed Energy. With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Woody has a proven track record in managing project development, commercial transactions and creating strategies that advance leading-edge energy solutions.

Prior to joining AES, Woody served as Senior Vice President, Commercial and Development for Main Street Power and previously worked as a project finance attorney with Chadbourne & Parke and Hunton & Williams. Woody holds a BA from University of Colorado and a JD from William and Mary
