
Tom Clancy
Tom Clancy is Senior Director of Federal Affairs. In this role, Tom helps lead House and Senate Democratic engagement on issues related to offshore wind, permitting, tax and trade, and battery storage, working closely with policymakers, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to advocate for policies that support the clean energy economy.
Tom served as staff in the House of Representatives for over a decade, serving in senior roles for members across the broad spectrum of the Democratic Party. He helped advance legislative priorities across many issues, including in the Build Back Better Act, the Inflation Reduction Act, the Water Resources and Development Act, the National Defense Authorization Act, and House Appropriations legislation.
In addition to the House of Representatives, Tom served as Senior Advisor for Implementation at the Environmental Protection Agency under the leadership of Administrator Michael Regan and began his career in the external affairs department of Xcel Energy.
He is from Fort Collins, Colorado and is a proud graduate of the University of Colorado.
