Rob Schulberg

Manager, Campaign Communications

Rob Schulberg advances communications activities for ACP’s Fuel for Thought campaign as the organization’s Campaign Communications Manager. He works across ACP departments with regional partners, member companies, and other industry stakeholders to ensure ACP shines a bright light on how clean energy benefits all Americans nationwide.

Prior to ACP, Rob contracted with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) for three years. Most notably, he served as the media lead for DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), garnering coverage for EERE’s solar, wind, water, and geothermal technology offices. Rob also worked with DOE’s Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response in a speechwriting and public relations capacity. A native Oregonian, he kickstarted his career in the energy sector at ACP-member company, Portland General Electric, overseeing marketing efforts for the utility’s transportation electrification portfolio.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from the University of Puget Sound. Outside of work, Rob enjoys golfing, volunteering with the American Cancer Society’s DC Chapter, and playing intramural sports on the National Mall.
