Michele Mihelic

Michele Mihelic serves as ACP’s Senior Director, Asset Management and Standard Development. Michele focuses on building strong relationships with relevant federal agencies such as the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Energy on occupational safety and health, labor, and workforce development policy. She manages a diverse portfolio, which includes the Environmental, Health and Safety; Workforce Development, Training, and Education; Operations and Maintenance, and ANSI Standards Development. Michele joined AWEA in 2009. Prior to AWEA, Michele was the Director, Safety and Health for the Associated General Contractors America (AGC). Michele has 20 years of regulatory and legislative experience both the state and federal levels. Michele received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy from Pennsylvania State University.
