Maurice Moss
Maurice Moss is the Senior Director of Central Regional Electricity & Transmission Policy, where he advances and promotes clean energy through advocating for policies that ensure fair access to the electricity market.
Previously, Maurice held executive and senior attorney roles at public power utilities in Kansas and Missouri, managing energy and environmental compliance and regulatory departments. Prior to that, he worked for several federal agencies handling electric hydropower marketing, NEPA, and renewable permitting.
Maurice served as the chair American Public Power Association Legal and Regulatory Section (2021-2022) and served on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Reliability Organization (2023-2024).
Besides his professional endeavors, Maurice is an active community member. He serves on the Boards of the Kansas City Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City and Donnelly College.
Maurice and his family love the National Park System, and visiting and hiking all the designated National Parks is a family goal.
