Joe Brady

The newest member of ACP’s Advocacy Team, Joe brings over 15 years of experience in infrastructure, energy, and tax policy from his roles on Capitol Hill and in federal trade associations. Most recently, Joe served as Director of Government Affairs for the Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA), where he shaped its advocacy strategy for the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and supported Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) implementation efforts. In addition to lobbying for the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Joe served in the offices of Rep. Susan Bonamici (D-OR) and Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE). With his knowledge and experience, Joe will work to advance ACP membership advocacy goals on issues impacting energy storage, supply chains, offshore wind, solar, manufacturing, and tax.

A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Joe graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Creighton University and lives in Washington, DC with his wife, Jessica, and their two children.
