Carlie Owen

Deputy Director, Trade and Supply Chain Analysis

Carlie Owen is the Deputy Director of Trade and Supply Chain Analysis for the American Clean Power Association. Her focus is on domestic manufacturing and trade of critical components across clean energy supply chains.

She previously served as a Supply Chain Deployment Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains. Prior to her work with the federal government, she spent two years as an Energy Analyst at an energy-economy consulting firm, Navius Research, based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Carlie is an energy sector enthusiast. After receiving her B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida, her career began as a Territory Manager for ExxonMobil supporting the maintenance of industrial facilities including wind farms, hydro-electric plants as well as traditional fossil generation facilities. This experience led her to pursue a Masters in Clean Energy Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
