B.J. Ducey

B.J. Ducey serves as President of Strategic Operations for Quanta Services. As part of his strategic oversight, Ducey supports Quanta’s growing and extensive business portfolio, and leads a team that evaluates technologies, assets, projects and opportunities and has been a key driver of growth and innovation across the company.  Additionally, Ducey is a Board Member of Luma Energy.

Ducey has broad and deep industry experience, having previously served as Quanta’s Senior Vice President of Operations beginning in 2016. As SVP of Operations, he played a key role in the development and execution of advanced projects and programs across the globe and a range of end markets and geographies including the Electric Power, Renewable Energy and Underground Utility and Infrastructure Segments.  

Prior to joining Quanta, Ducey worked as Manager of Strategic Development at ABB Inc. and has held several leadership positions across the energy sector.

Ducey holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University. He lives in Houston with his wife, Jennifer and is the proud father of two children.
