
Abby Sherman
Abby Sherman is the Manager of Electricity Markets for the American Clean Power Association (ACP). Abby focuses on advancing policies to enable transmission expansion and ensure fair access to the regional wholesale electricity markets, focusing on the Midcontinent ISO (MISO) and Southwest Power Pool (SPP). Additionally, Abby covers inverter-based resource reliability topics with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC).
Prior to joining ACP, Abby served as a Research & Policy Associate at the power sector consulting firm Grid Strategies, where she supported analysis on and advocacy for transmission development and the deployment of grid-enhancing technologies through the Working for Advanced Transmission Technologies (WATT) Coalition.
Abby graduated with a BA in Environmental Science & Policy from Florida State University and a Master of Public Policy from Duke University, focusing on energy and environmental policy. Abby is originally from Tampa, Florida.
