Scott Hennessey is the Senior Vice President for Federal Policy for Brookfield Renewable. Scott has been advocating for federal renewable energy policy since 2006. Prior to his current position, Scott worked for Tesla (Federal Policy), Tesla Energy/SolarCity (Vice President of Policy & Electricity Markets, and Regulatory Counsel), the Solar Energy Industries Association (multiple roles ending as their Director of Legislative Affairs & General Counsel), and The Brattle Group (Special Assistant to the Chairman). Currently, Scott serves on the boards of directors for the National Hydropower Association and the Solar Energy Industries Association. Scott attended Oberlin College and Boston College Law School, and he is currently based in the Washington, D.C. area.
