Sam Ramsey

Director of Programs, Clean Power Institute

Sam Ramsey is the Director of Programs with the Clean Power Institute.  In this role, Sam supports CPI’s strategic partnerships and technician recruitment and retention efforts across wind, solar, and energy storage. She brings expertise in facilitation, multi-stakeholder engagement, communications, and process design to advance a safe and resilient workforce.

Prior to joining CPI, Sam served as ACP’s Deputy Director of Safety, Workforce Training, and Operations where she led related member committees, external safety programming, and certification and training development. Earlier in her career, Sam worked a Kearns & West, a strategic communications and public engagement firm, where she supported state and federal agencies in implementing clean energy programs, procuring utility-scale projects, and integrating stakeholder input on topics such as safety, supply chain, transmission, and environmental permitting.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Christopher Newport University and resides in Washington, D.C.‍
