Sam Ramsey

Deputy Director, Safety, Workforce Training & Operations

Sam Ramsey is ACP’s Deputy Director of Safety, Workforce Training & Operations. In this role, Sam works across wind, solar, and energy storage to manage ACP’s committees focused on worker safety, workforce development, and operational excellence. She leads ACP’s annual Safety First Workforce Campaign that connects the industry’s top safety practices to boots-on-the-ground technicians. Sam also supports implementation of the Clean Power Institute’s workforce development initiatives.

Prior to ACP, Sam worked for a consultant firm, Kearns & West, where she managed stakeholder engagement, program implementation, and strategic communications for state and federal agencies, industry associations, and non-profits to advance U.S. clean energy development. Here, Sam designed and implemented multi-stakeholder processes, procurements, and educational programs on topics related to health and safety, workforce development, supply chain, and environmental permitting.

Sam received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Christopher Newport University. She resides in Washington, D.C.
