Between a new airport, public transportation, ride sharing and walkability, navigating to and around Salt Lake City is convenient and easy. Learn more below.


The new Salt Lake City airport is designed to accommodate 34 million passengers and includes a new terminal, new parking garage and portions of two new concourses to accommodate larger planes along with a wide array of new restaurants, bars and retail stores.

SLC airport is serviced by 10 airlines and their affiliates including AeroMexico, Alaska Airlines, American, Delta (a major hub with 70% of total traffic), Frontier, JetBlue, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, SkyWest, Southwest, and United with more than 370 flights departing daily to 99 non-stop destinations.

The airport is located approximately 7 miles from downtown Salt Lake City or roughly 20-25 minutes depending on traffic.

The TRAX Green Line connects the airport to downtown Salt Lake City for only $2.50 each way. More details on the green line can be found here including a detailed schedule.

Parking and Driving Directions

The Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center has two underground parking garages with daily rates of $15 per day. More details including garage locations can be found here.

Downtown Public Transportation

The convention center and all of the official CLEANPOWER hotels are within the free fare zone on TRAX, the local light rail system.

Depending on your hotel selection, the Courthouse, Gallivan Plaza, City Center, Temple Square, and Arena stations on both the blue and green lines as well as the Planetarium and Old Greektown stations on the blue line offer a free and convenient way to get to and from the convention center if you would prefer not to walk.

With all official CLEANPOWER hotels within 3 blocks of the convention center or a TRAX station in the free fare zone, hotel shuttling will not be provided making the event even more eco-friendly!

Policies and Additional Information

Cancellation Policy:  To provide additional flexibility this year, a cancellation fee will only be assessed after September 15, 2021. Cancellations received after September 15, 2021 will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee charged by Orchid Events. Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival date will be charged one night’s room rate and tax by the hotel.  Click here for more hotel policies.

ACP continues to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation. Should the event have to be cancelled as a result of an emergency declaration, ACP will work with all exhibitors and attendees to refund the $50 cancellation fee.

Buyer Beware:  Orchid.Events is the only official CLEANPOWER 2021 housing provider!  Don’t fall prey to fake or misleading housing solicitations by other companies.  Click here for more details.
