Policies
Credit Card Policy: All registrations will be applied to the card provided at the time of registration. Conference Registration(s) will not be processed without payment or if made with declined or invalid credit cards. Once a registration has been charged to a credit card, ACP is not able to change the credit card used for payment.
Cancellation Policy: All cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted to ACP in writing via email to conference@cleanpower.org. Refunds may not be processed until after the completion of the conference. All refund requests received up to 10 business days before the event will be processed less a $150 administrative fee. Any refunds for credit card payments may only be credited back to the original credit card and cannot be refunded to a different card. There will be no refunds made for cancellations after this time or for no-shows and registration fees may not be transferred to a different ACP event. Substitutions are permitted for individuals who work within the same institution/company. Email information on substitutions to conference@cleanpower.org.
Badges: To receive a badge, you must register. Your name badge is your admission to the conference. Pre-registered participates are to pick up their badges upon checking in at the on-site registration counter. Badge sharing is not allowed. Registration is per individual and is not exchangeable between colleagues.
VISA Invitation Letters: Before an invitation letter can be provided, you must register for the conference and payment must be received via credit card, check (in US funds drawn on a US bank) or wire transfer. At that point, an invitation letter will be provided. Once an invitation letter has been provided, the remaining requirements of VISA application, necessary documentation, embassy, or consulate interviews, etc… are the sole responsibility of the attendee. Should the VISA application be denied or not approved in time to attend the event, ACP will refund the full registration fee back to the original credit card or by check if the original payment was provided by check or wire transfer.

ACP Event Anti-Harassment Policy: The American Clean Power Association (ACP) is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone at ACP events. ACP seeks to provide a conference environment in which diverse attendees may learn, network and enjoy the company of colleagues in a professional atmosphere. ACP does not tolerate harassment of Conference attendee in any form. Use of sexual or discriminatory language and imagery is not appropriate of any Conference event. All attendees are expected to comply with this Event Anti-Harassment Policy at all Conference venues and Conference-related social events. Violators of this Event Anti-Harassment Policy may be sanctioned or expelled from the Conference at the discretion of the ACP Conference organizers. View the ACP Anti-Harassment Policy
ACP reserves the right to refuse a new registration or cancel and refund an existing registration at our own discretion; or to eject any registrant from the event without any prior notice or refund if while at the event their behavior is deemed disruptive, offensive, dangerous, illegal or if they are found to be distributing unauthorized material. Contributions to ACP and fees for ACP events are not tax deductible as charitable contributions but may be deductible as ordinary business expenses.
By accepting the Terms & Conditions during registration, you agree not to hold any trainings, receptions, client events, or other large gatherings of ACP participants during times that conflict with the official conference sessions or special events without prior approval by ACP.
By participating in or attending Clean Power on the Hill (the “Event”), you acknowledge that ACP may take photos, video recordings, and/or audio recordings of you while at the Event. These photos and/or recordings of you, your image or likeness, are for ACP use and may appear on the ACP website, newsletters, brochures, broadcasts, social media platforms, or future ACP promotional material. ACP may also share photos and/or recordings with news organizations for publication online, in print, or broadcast. By participating in or attending the Event you consent to the use of your image, likeness and/or voice in all such material without compensation and in perpetuity.
