Clean Power on The Hill gives ACP members the unique opportunity to visit Washington, DC, and share their personal experiences in small group meetings with Members of Congress and their staff. Attendees participate in advocacy training and then put that training into action, educating legislators and their staff on the clean power industry’s top federal policy initiatives.

From field technicians to installers, executives, engineers, and business development personnel, a diverse group of industry representatives is welcome to attend and show Congress the real power of clean power—our people.

Attendees met up with their groups for the day and headed to the relevant House and Senate offices to advocate for clean energy using the resources and information provided by ACP.
The day concluded with a closing reception on Capitol Hill, where everyone celebrated their efforts and the bright future of clean energy.
To make the biggest impact, attendees were grouped by their state, maximizing the chance of meeting directly with their Members of Congress. This tailored approach helped secure more meetings, ensured more impactful conversations, and made it easier to refine the meeting flow and navigate the Hill. The firsthand experiences of those on the front lines often resonate most with Members of Congress.
