Deadlines and policies

The following deadlines & policies apply to CLEANPOWER registrations:

Registration Confirmations:

  • Online registrations:  All online registrations will be immediately confirmed via email to the email address provided. You are able to enter a second email for a duplicate copy of the registration confirmation.
  • Fax or mail registrations:  All fax or mail registrations will be confirmed via email upon receipt if an email address is provided.
  • Registrations that do not provide an email address will NOT be sent a confirmation.
  • All registrations must have a unique email address.

Registration Cancellations, Refunds, and Substitutions:

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic evolves, ACP staff continues to monitor updates, and plans to follow protocols established by health authorities as well as all local, state and federal government mandates.  The health, well-being and safety of our attendees, staff and community remain our top priority.

We understand that the current environment creates a great deal of uncertainty and hope our flexible cancellation policy allows you to register for ACP events with confidence.

All cancellation fees associated with any ACP in-person event registration will be waived, up to 10 business days before the event if you have not participated in any of that event’s virtual education or matchmaking opportunities, some of which may occur before the in-person components. No refunds can be made after this time or for no-shows and registration fees cannot be transferred to other ACP events. If you have changes to your registration including contact information or if you need to provide a substitution for your registration, email 

If you register for the  CLEANPOWER Virtual Summit and decide to transfer to the All Access Pass to include the in-person event, you may do so up to five business days before the start of the December CLEANPOWER Conference & Exhibition by paying the price difference between the Virtual Summit registration and the current price of the All Access Pass – provided that the in-person event has not sold out.

Virtual  Event  Cancellation Policy:

All refund requests received at least 10 business days before the event will be processed less a $100 administrative fee. Refunds may not be processed until after the completion of the conference.  There will be no refunds made after this time and registration fees may not be transferred to a different ACP event. However, substitutions are permitted for no charge. Email information on substitutions to

All cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted to ACP in writing via email to  Any refunds to credit card payments may only be credited back to the original credit card and cannot be refunded to a different card.

Registration Changes:

Visit the Registration Resource Center  to make changes to some of your contact information as well as add special events and tickets to your existing registration. You may also upgrade your Virtual Summit Only registration to an All Access Pass to include the in-person December tradeshow within the resource center.

Registration Materials:

Badges and materials may be picked up on-site at the event and will NOT be mailed in advance. Registration will be held in the foyer of the Salt Palace Convention Center during the following hours:

  • Monday, December 6, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Tuesday, December 7, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday, December 8, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

VISA Invitation Letters:

Before an invitation letter can be provided, you must register for the conference and payment must be received via credit card, check (in US funds drawn on a US bank) or wire transfer. At that point, an invitation letter will be provided through the Registration Resource Center Once an invitation letter has been provided, the remaining requirements of VISA application, necessary documentation, embassy or consulate interviews, etc. are the sole responsibility of the attendee. Should the VISA application be denied or not approved in time to attend the event, ACP will refund the full registration fee back to the original credit card or by check if the original payment was provided by check or wire transfer. Simply email  should you not be able to attend the event due to VISA application related issues.

Dietary Restrictions / Disabilities / Special Requests:

If you need special accommodations or have specific dietary needs or allergies, please indicate those items when you register online or on the fax/mail registration form.

Email as early as possible to ensure we have enough time to arrange for your needs. All catered functions will provide vegetarian options.

Conference Attire:

The attire for CLEANPOWER 2021 is a mix of business casual and business professional.

Other Event Policies:

It is extremely important that association members, meeting attendees, and speakers understand that the provisions of the antitrust laws regulate their conduct at association meetings. For ACP Antitrust Guidelines: click here prior to arriving at the conference.

The American Clean Power Association (ACP) is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone at ACP events. ACP seeks to provide a conference environment in which diverse attendees may learn, network and enjoy the company of colleagues in a professional atmosphere. ACP does not tolerate harassment of Conference attendees in any form. Use of sexual or discriminatory language and imagery is not appropriate for any Conference event. All attendees are expected to comply with this Event Anti-Harassment Policy at all Conference venues and Conference-related social events. Violators of this Event Anti-Harassment Policy may be sanctioned or expelled from the Conference at the discretion of the ACP Conference organizers. To view the full policy click here.

ACP reserves the right to refuse a new registration or cancel and refund an existing registration at our own discretion; or to eject any registrant from the event without any prior notice or refund if while at the conference their behavior is deemed disruptive, offensive, dangerous, illegal or if they are found to be distributing unauthorized material.

By accepting the Terms & Conditions during registration, you agree not to hold any trainings, receptions, client events, or other large gatherings of CLEANPOWER participants during times that conflict with the official conference sessions, exhibition hours, or special events without prior approval by ACP. Sponsorship is a requirement for companies hosting large private events co-located with the show.  For questions, email Brent Nussbaum.

Contributions to ACP and fees for ACP events are not tax deductible as charitable contributions, but may be deductible as ordinary business expenses.

There is a $50 badge reprint fee if you misplace your badge during the show so please ensure you wear your badge each day at the convention center.
