Collegiate Wind Competition Prepares Students for Renewable Energy Workforce
The U.S. Department of Energy Collegiate Wind Competition (CWC) helps college students prepare for jobs in the wind energy and renewable energy industries through experience with real-world wind energy technology, project development, finance, communications, and outreach.
The CWC is typically held in conjunction with the American Clean Power Association CLEANPOWER conference and exhibition each spring. The American Clean Power Association works with the CWC organizers to plan and facilitate CWC events during the conference, providing a platform for CWC participants to showcase their work, connect with leaders in the wind energy and renewable energy industries, and prepare to join the clean energy workforce.
Check out the CWC website for more information.
