I’m especially excited about CLEANPOWER in Color this year because it represents real momentum. Not just conversation, but a sustained commitment to equity, representation, and access for historically underrepresented communities within the clean energy sector.

Meet the 2026 Advisory Committee

I’m especially excited about CLEANPOWER in Color this year because it represents real momentum. Not just conversation, but a sustained commitment to equity, representation, and access for historically underrepresented communities within the clean energy sector.

It reinforces that integrating broader-spectrum representation is not peripheral to the energy transition, but essential to its long-term success. Having attended the inaugural conference last year, I experienced firsthand the power of creating an intentional space for professionals of color to connect, share experiences, and engage in honest dialogue about navigating and shaping the renewable energy industry.

This year’s event holds deeper personal and professional significance for me, as I am humbled to serve on the 2026 advisory committee. It is a privilege to help shape a conference that equips participants with practical tools for success, reinforces the importance of inclusive leadership, and creates the visibility needed for individuals to identify or create leadership pathways. The work to develop this year’s attendees will create strong professional networking communities that will ensure we’re doing our diligence in shaping and advancing the industry.

There was a moment in my first year working in clean energy where I thought I had made a grave mistake pivoting to this industry. Attending CLEANPOWER in Color showed me that I do, in fact, belong here.

The friendships, connections, and actionable knowledge I walked away with have enriched my life ten-fold over the last year, and I cannot wait to be back on the ground for this magical convening.
