2024 Bonus Events Recap
ACP takes pride in providing opportunities for fun, engaging networking and recreational extracurricular activities beyond the panels and presentations at the conference. Over 3,500 total participants joined us for networking activities including the Opening Reception, local tours and the Power Up 5k. Check out an overview of the CLEANPOWER 2024 Bonus Events below.
ACP Committee Meetings
ACP members from across the industry were able to meet in-person to discuss the work they’ve been doing together via video calls all year.
ACP EmpowHER Forum
The inaugural ACP EmpowHER Forum focused on empowering women and non-binary leaders through tailored programming, networking opportunities, and discussions. Led by industry pioneers, the ACP EmpowHER Forum drove meaningful change and foster the next generation of female leaders in the clean power sector.
Fun Run 5K
300+ people participated in a 5K jog or walk around Minneapolis.
RNWBL Golf Tournament
On Monday May 6, dozens of attendees joined RNWBL at the CLEANPOWER Golf Open. The tournament was held at the Columbia Golf Course in Minneapolis.
Power Networking
Attendees had the opportunity to chat with potential business providers and set up a 10-minute meeting during this two-hour time block.
Booth Design Competition
The booths were evaluated across four size categories on messaging, attendee interaction, and visual design. All 500 exhibitors brought their A-game!
KidWind Project at CLEANPOWER
ACP hosted a national KidWind Challenge at CLEANPOWER24.
Agrivoltaics Tour
On Thursday, May 9, attendees joined a tour to observe the practical application of agrivoltaics in Minnesota and gained insights into vegetation installation and management practices and discussed the scalability of agrivoltaics systems across the country, exploring the intersection of renewable energy, ecology, and agriculture.
