Unlocking the Power of Generative AI and Agentic Intelligence for Renewable Asset Planning
Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) for an immersive, hands-on workshop designed to introduce energy professionals and business leaders to the transformative potential of Generative AI, AI agents-based workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. This session will explore how these technologies can augment wind and solar resource assessment, streamline wind farm design, and accelerate project development.
The first hour will focus on high-level business use cases, showcasing how Agentic AI can enhance decision-making, reduce risk, and unlock new efficiencies. The remaining two hours will be a hands-on workshop, guiding participants through project site planning and evaluation for early-stage prospects. You will create AI agents and tools that help with 1. data collection, 2. wind farm design and turbine placement, 3. energy yield and cost calculations, and 4. report generation— all by leveraging sample datasets, open-source data, and libraries.
You will be using the AWS console and Jupyter notebooks in AWS-provided environments. Attendees will leave inspired by the art of the possible and equipped with practical tools to begin applying AI in their own workflows.
