Join the Virtual March on Washington

The T. Boone Pickens “army” of more than 1 million plans to conduct a virtual march on Washington April 1-3 to press Congress to act on energy legislation this year. AWEA is a partner with the Pickens Plan organization on the march.

During the three days, the Pickens group will focus its energy on getting e-mails, calls and faxes to every Member of Congress, urging them to support a national Renewable Electricity Standard and renewable transmission legislation. Congress is expected to begin consideration of the RES and transmission legislation in April.
