DENVER, April 12, 2016 – Members of the press are invited to attend an exclusive live press conference release of the American Wind Energy Association’s (AWEA) 2015 U.S. Wind Industry Annual Market Report, which will show the U.S. wind energy industry supporting more jobs than ever.

Colorado’s leadership in expanding wind power has enabled the state to attract thousands of quality jobs while cutting costs on electricity bills and creating clean air.

The press conference will take place at Vestas Wind Systems’ Brighton Nacelle manufacturing facility that employs nearly 3,700 Colorado workers building America’s wind turbines. In the background of the event space are nacelles manufactured at Vestas’s Brighton facility, these house all of the generating components in a wind turbine.
