Women’s History Month: Saluting the women of wind energy

Over 100,000 U.S. workers now have wind-related jobs, and women make up a key part of this workforce. This Women’s History Month we wanted to recognize their contributions toward building an energy independent, cleaner tomorrow.

Here are a trio of videos that highlight their important work.

GE’s Kiersten Purintan leads her team and keeps them safe and in climbing condition.

Shanelle Wilson is an Air Force veteran who now has a rewarding wind power career.

There are thousands of stories like these across the U.S. wind industry, and we thank all of the women in the wind ranks for their important work.
