Wind power creates American jobs

This is starting out to be a tough year for the U.S. economy. But there is some good news out there. The Sacramento Bee has a story which describes how wind energy is bringing good jobs to northern California. And the Los Angeles Times has one about the wind power industy's need for trained workers. CNN, too, has discovered the wind-jobs connection. Bottom line: The wind industry, which now employs about 85,000 Americans, is growing in 2009, creating more jobs.
