Tell us why you love wind power during iheartwind week!
It's Valentine's week and this seems like a great time for all of us to share why we love wind power.
Starting today and lasting through Valentine's Day (this Friday, 2/14) celebrate your love for wind power by taking pictures and sharing them with others on AWEA's Facebook page and Twitter handle (@AWEA) using the #iheartwind hashtag.
You can take pictures from your worksite, home, office, practically anywhere! Here are few ideas for pictures:
- Hold up a sign saying why you love wind power (like the one below)
- Take a "selfie" at a wind farm
- Use your hands to put up a hand-heart symbol with a turbine in the background
We'll be re-tweeting, liking, and even posting our own pictures showing why we love wind power throughout the week. On Friday, we'll post a blog showcasing some of our favorite pictures from throughout the week for everyone to see. We'll show as many of these pictures as possible on the big screen at WINDPOWER14 in Las Vegas, May 5-8.
