Stand Up for Minnesota Wind Power

Last week, the Energy Jobs Act of 2013 passed off the Minnesota House and Senate floors. Thanks to the efforts of advocates like you, the Minnesota House included our proposal to expand the state’s renewable energy standard (RES) to 40% by 2030 and we are one step closer to our goal. The House and Senate are now negotiating a final energy package that they will present to Governor Dayton for signature within the next week.

Governor Dayton, House and Senate leadership, and the conference committee members need to understand that the Energy Jobs Act will be incomplete without the 40% by 2030 RES in the final conference report.

Please contact these key state elected officials today.  Start by filling in your zip code below. Tell them that they should support the inclusion of the 40% by 2030 RES expansion in the Energy Jobs Act conference report and that the legislation will be incomplete without this robust and achievable RES.

Your support has been critical in getting the Energy Jobs Act this far.  It is essential that Governor Mark Dayton, Legislative Leaders, and the Energy Jobs Act Conference Committee members know how important this policy is to the state of Minnesota.
