Show your support for Montana wind today!

The 63rd session of the Montana State Legislature adjourned on April 24, 2013.  We are happy to report that Governor Bullock stood strong in defending renewable resources like wind power during this session.

Governor Bullock understands the positive benefits that wind power brings to Big Sky Country, including $1.5 billion in investment, 1,500 construction jobs, 100 permanent jobs, and millions in landowner payments and public revenues. As a result, he vetoed many bills that would have diminished and undercut Montana’s Renewable Energy Standard and the positive benefits renewable energy brings to the state. Several laws that improve renewable energy policy affecting wind power also passed into law.

Please take a moment to send a message to Governor Bullock thanking him for his decisive actions in support of Montana’s Renewable Energy Standard.  Start by entering your zip code below.
