As you tell by AWEA's latest graphic, wind power doesn't just improve our economy. Now that wind is a mainstream source of electricity capable of providing enough electricity to power 15.5 million American homes, it strengthens U.S. energy independence as well.

Congress returns next week from August recess and it's important that they know the Production Tax Credit and Investment Tax Credit must be extended before the end of the year.
