Know more about wind power by attending Expert Hours at WINDPOWER

Want to be enlightened about a range of wind power topics, including the latest information about the economics of wind power, finance markets, AWEA's annual market report, or even updates on wind power abroad?  Then those of you here and WINDPOWER can come to the AWEA expert hours at Booth #1364 from Tuesday-Thursday this week. One of this year's presenters, AWEA Manager of Industry Data and Analysis Emily Williams, said "AWEA Expert Hours provide a unique opportunity for WINDPOWER attendees to ask detailed questions in an open setting."

Here's who and what you can expect at this year's Expert Hours:


Emily Williams, Manager, Industry Data & Analysis, AWEA

Emily will be hosting a presentation of the U.S. Wind Industry Annual Market Report 2013, followed by a demonstration of the various capabilities of AWEAs Market Database Pro. She'll be available to answer questions on the Market Report and will help you leverage the Market Database Pro.


Paul Holshouser, Finance Policy Manager, AWEA

Paul Holshouser will host a presentation and answer attendees' questions on the project finance markets in relation to the U.S. wind industry. His presentation will offer some basics of wind finance and a look at trends from the past four years of investment.


Amna Kahn, Deputy Director, Core Member Services, AWEA

Amna Kahn will be hosting spotlight sessions on wind power in international markets, including ones in Mexico and Brazil. There will also be an AWEA international reception from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the AWEA booth featuring AWEA CEO Tom Kiernan and AWEA Board Chair Susan Reilly.
